Role: Senior Software Engineer - Backend generalist
Location: In person in SF, SOMA
Greylock led a seed investment in a company developing AI technology designed for financial crime investigations and helps financial services, fintechs and banks investigate money laundering and terrorism financing more efficiently. By equipping their customers with LLM agents, their AI technology helps their customers review suspicious activity, conduct entity due diligence, and write audit-ready reports of each investigation in higher quality ways than existing tools/technology.
The founders are looking to expand their current eng team (4 swe's on the team today) to meet growing demand of their current customers. This is an opportunity to join two founders with extensive product experience in financial crimes and payments and build from zero to one.

Qualifications:
- 4-7 yrs of experience as a backend generalist, preferably at early stage companies or you have built/launched a new initiative from concept to launch inside a larger company.
- Entrepreneurial attitude - you're onboard for building from the ground up, moving fast and scaling a very early product to meet incoming customer growth.
- You have experience with API's, distributed systems and data architectures.
- CS degree strongly preferred
